The link below contains the application to be considered by the Tree Vitalize program. Submitting an application does not guarantee that you'll get a tree.
What's This Map?
How many trees have been planted so far in our neighborhood? The map to the right shows the locations of the trees planted by volunteers helping Newbold Neighbors as part of the Philadelphia Horticultural Society & TreeVitalize biannual plantings. There are many more trees throughout Newbold than this map shows, though! Switch the map into satellite mode and zoom in to see just how green South Philly is!
I Already Have A Tree (or Can't Have A Tree)—What Else Can I Do?
You can help out at the next tree planting! Send a message to the Clean & Green chair, and we'll let you know the next time there's a planting! You can also help by giving the trees around your block some attention by keeping them watered and by pruning and mulching them once year.
