The Clean & Green Committee is charged with coordinating activities related to cleaning up the neighborhood and improving our green spaces.
Check the events calendar to find out when we meet next and what new greening projects are on the horizon.
Our activities include:
- Monthly litter pick-up at DiSilvestro, the Library, and the Health Center (first Saturday of each month, 10am)
- Participation in the Tree Tender certification program
- Coordination of street tree plantings
- Maintaining the planters at DiSilvestro, the Library and the Health Center
- Coordinating with the city to report and track trash problems and nuisance properties
- Conducting a Youth Litter Survey
- Green space creation
- And much more!
